When Wild Game Jerky Gets Sweet…

Elk jerky meets rich dark chocolate—sounds crazy, but trust us, it’s snack magic.

You don’t normally think “jerky” and “chocolate” belong in the same sentence, but here we are. Dark chocolate-covered wild game jerky is an interesting mix of flavors that just works. Smoky, sweet and even a little fancy—it’s like trail mix got a makeover. Warning: once you try it, you might not want to share.

Ingredients:

  •  Three Jerks Jerky
  • 12 ounce Dark Chocolate Melting Chocolate
  •  Pink Himalayan Salt
  •  Cayenne Pepper

Directions:-Place a piece of parchment paper on baking sheet.
-Melt dark chocolate (Microwave 30 seconds twice, then 20 seconds increments, then 10 seconds until melted-Stirring between each increment) or use a double boiler to melt chocolate.
-Dip a piece of Filet Mignon Beef Jerky in Melt chocolate, let excess drip into the chocolate pan and place on parchment paper.
-Sprinkle Pink Himalayan Salt and Cayenne Pepper to taste.
-Let the chocolate set for 5-15 minutes in the refrigerator.
