Nature’s Traffic Jam: Salmon Edition

Why did the salmon cross the road? To give the internet a laugh and a game warden something to hide in the bushes for—don’t miss this fin-tastic video!

West Cascade Media recently posted a video that’s equal parts nature documentary and traffic report—salmon crossing the road on Skokomish Valley Road on November 12th of this year. Yep, you read that right—fish. Crossing. The road. While the footage is impressive on its own, the comments section is where the real entertainment happens. One person joked about picturing a game warden lurking in the bushes, while others wished they could be there to play “crossing guard” for the fish. Honestly, it’s the kind of moment you’d love to witness live—nature showing off, and the internet having a field day.
