The pictures tell the story. The salmon bite has picked up every single day for anglers in the Captain’s boat.  He and his crew have caught some big fish in the upper teens but nothing like some other anglers have reeled in.  At least five fish have been reported caught close to 30 pounds and over!  You’ve probably also heard the new state record salmon was caught.  This could shape up to be a great year if fishing stays how it is this week on Fort Peck–but those salmon are never predictable.  Once you think you have ’em figured out, you don’t!

These are photos taken just in my boat with Gary Rueb, Don Jamison, Ronnie Gondiero , Ken Ault and Amy McComas.  All are great fishing partners, and now they all have the dreaded Black Jaw Fever!
