A wolf and a skunk

Direct confrontations between skunks and wolves are relatively rare, as wolves typically avoid potential conflicts with smaller, defensive prey unless they are extremely hungry or the skunk is inadvertently cornered. While the spray is unpleasant for any creature, it’s particularly effective against predators like wolves due to their keen sense of smell. The strong odor can disorient and deter them, making them less likely to pursue the skunk further.  And that is exactly what happened in the clip below.
