Walk-in access remains open

BILLINGS – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has implemented a partial site closure at Gritty Stone Fishing Access Site (FAS) on the Yellowstone River near Worden. Rapid melting of snow and ice jams in the area has led to unsuitable conditions for vehicle access at the site.

Due to these conditions, motorized access is temporarily prohibited. Walk-in access is still allowed at this time, but visitors must ensure they do not obstruct roadways or other access points when parking.

Vehicle access at Gritty Stone FAS will be reopened as soon as conditions allow.
