Reminder:
As of January 1, 2024, FWP changed things up for young hunters aged 12 to 17. They added a mandatory, in-person field day requirement for youngsters pursuing their hunting licenses online. It’s a must-do for certification and snagging those Montana hunting licenses!
If you or someone you know falls into this age bracket and is in the process of completing these courses, and you/they didn’t finish it up before the new year, completing the online course alone won’t cut it – a field day is also required.
