Fresno is 23% full. The past week with cold temps and blowing snow has been a challenge for most anglers. Improving weather conditions are forecast for the weekend. I suggest fishing the basin areas in front of the dam, Keighns and Kremlin Bay. Tip ups with salted minnows and jig. The annual ice fish tournament is Sat. Jan 27. Contact the Fresno Tavern for more info.

Nelson is 76% full. Weather conditions the past week have been tough. Perch and walleye fishing have remained good. Concentrate on the hump and point areas in 20’-25’ of water. I jig. Northerns are being taken almost all depths on tip ups with live minnows. Sleeping Buffalo has minnows but check with them before you head over. Good luck and stay safe.
