A Fort Peck angler’s 3 1/2-year-old grandson got his first salmon!
Emerson Copenhagen picked out a Big Green flasher and fly after his grandpa asked him what he would put on. The fish was caught 70 feet down on Fort Peck. It was his first trip salmon fishing with his grandpa. Oh, by the way, Emerson’s grandpa jus happens to be The Salmon Slayer–Bill Zarahdka from Wolf Point.
